Carrot Kheer


Forget about vitamin A pills. With this orange crunchy power food, you get vitamin A and a host of other powerful health benefits including beautiful skin, stroke & cancer prevention, and anti-aging. We can get maximum benefits from this amazing vegetable. You can feed this vegetable for your kid as they wish! Carrot Kheer is a very sweet and healthy pudding for your buddies!

Ingredients:



  • Carrots – 4
  • Milk – 4 Cups (950 ml)
  • Sugar – ¾ Cup (200 gram)
  • Cardamom (Powdered) – 2
  • Almonds (grated) – 3 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts – 10
  • Almonds (Chopped) – 4 tsp
  • Raisins - 10


Method:



  1. Boil the carrots in water till they become soft.
  2. Grind them to paste along with cashews and keep it aside.
  3. Boil the milk. Reduce the flame and keep on stirring till it becomes thick and 2/4 of the quantity.
  4. Add sugar and grinded cardamom to milk and stir constantly till it becomes more thick and ¼ of the quantity.
  5.  Now add the carrot paste to milk and increase the flame. Mix well.
  6. When it starts boiling, remove from heat.
  7. Garnish with chopped almonds, raisins.
  8. Serve cold.
